Dana’s journey in the wine world began in 2009 at a wine bar in her home state of Colorado, she quickly fell in love with the world of wine. Her passion deepened during an internship at an urban winery in Chicago, IL, which paved the way for her to join the 2014 harvest team at Kosta Browne in Sonoma County, California. Over the course of five vintages at Kosta Browne, Dana focused on her winemaking and leadership skills and eventually took a position as Cellar Master for two vintages at Realm Cellars in Napa Valley.

One of Dana’s proudest career milestones came in 2021 when she co-founded Coquina Wines in Willamette Valley, Oregon. Coquina Wines crafted classic wines using natural approaches. Dana and her business partner did everything hands on from winemaking to sales. Coquina was distributed in 4 states, including Florida!

Dana’s move to Florida and developing Vino Vero is an accumulation of experiences all driven by her lust for adventure and wine. She is passionate about her work in the wine industry and is grateful for the connections she has made along the way. At Vino Vero, she is eager to foster a community of like-minded enthusiasts.
